We are inviting all kids and parents to this FREE event to meet our very own local retired astronaut Mike McCulley. He will share amazing stories of his Galileo expeditions, being pilot to the Atlantis mission (the Space Shuttle that you see now at the Kennedy Space Center) and more!
Pizza, wings, games and a chance to win a ticket to the Kennedy Space Center too!
After the event
What a special day for our SCFACC family! A heartfelt thank you to Joni Gawne for your time, effort, the beautiful venue, and most especially, for connecting us with a real astronaut. What an incredible opportunity for our families and young people.
It was truly an honor to meet Astronaut Michael McCulley and hear his story personally. His journey reminded us that dreams can take us farther than we ever imagine. Our children and teenagers will always have this special memory: “I once met a real astronaut.”
We didn’t just create an event — we created a memory that may inspire a dream.
